WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING
  • "I am a 57 year young rider and proud owner of a Buell 1125R that I have "tweaked" out a bit...let's just say it was fast before and its even faster now. However, I am 6'2" tall and bending over for any duration is a problem. I tried modifying the bars to bring them back a little and it did help...a little. I ended up buying your bars and installed them (relatively simple to install) and it help A LOT! Thanks!!! I would recommend them to anyone and everyone thinking about them!"
    - Mike Stenerson, Charleston, AR
  • "I love these bars. Took a little work to sort out the mods to allow full range of adjustment but it was worth it. Installation of the components went smoothly. The down and fore position allows a nice tuck position with more weight over the front wheel. I noticed immediately that turn in was quicker and required less effort. The slightly wider than stock position is not noticeable and may actually contribute to the reduced steering effort.. The up and aft posititon is very comfortable."
    - Tony, Tampa Bay, FL
  • "Convertibars are extremely well made. You can easily tell they are CNC machined out of billet aluminum. The finish is attractive and I like they way they look on my bike. They are the biggest comfort adjustment I have made to my Buell to turn it into an 1125RT. One word of caution however; be sure and torque the cyclops bolts down to 18-20 foot pounds to the bars will not twist. "
    - Lentz, Memphis TN
  • "I bought a set of 50mm black convertibars including the 5" longer front brake line. Throttle cables, clutch cable and wiring are all stock lengths on my 07 GSXR 750. Installation was easy, following instructions included with the bars and an online video as well. After riding with them for the last couple of months and a few thousand miles I am very pleased with the result. I can do 350+ mile days sport or sport-touring without my shoulders or wrists getting sore and have more control of the bike."
    - Rider, Texas
  • "I have obtained the convertibars to increase bike handling and to make the riding position a bit more comfortable. Due to the longer length of the bars, it's easier to steer in corners. I have adjusted the bars to get an active, yet comfortable riding position (similar to a street fighter). The convertibars were easy to install, thanks to the excellent manual. I Look forward to test my bike with convertibars on the track!"
    - Patrick Vermaat, The Netherlands
  • "I love the bars so far. They have unlimited adjustability, are easy to adjust, have held up well to the abuse of stunt riding and look great. Not to mention exceptional customer service with next day responses to e-mails."
    - Jake Gleitz, St Louis Park, MN
  • "Covertibars work out great, I love my bike but I like to take cross country trips, could not do that on the stock set-up without some serious discomfort, but I like the sport feel for shorter more aggressive rides, convertibars were exactly what I needed, no fender trimming was needed I just fabricated some brackets to push the fender up about a half inch and clearance is fine."
    - Jacob Lightfoot, New Bern, NC
  • "My bike is so removed from stock, that I couldn't really provide much info. I do have a full range of adjustment on the clutch cable side. On the brake side, I have a non-stock master cylinder, and twin braided lines that make comparisons with the original setup impossible. I've also got a GIVI fairing mounted, using the old handlebar mounts as stays, so that complicates clearance."
    - David, Ontario, CA
  • "It was a long, hot, and exhilarating journey from Oregon to Texas. The first half of the trip was made without the convertibars. I installed the new bars in southern cal and what a difference!!!! The convertibars are sent from above. I was finally able to really enjoy my ZXR 14. The bars made all the difference in the world. I would highly recommend this product. I really appreciate Jason Britton and his shop in Huntington Beach."
    - Peter, Texas
  • "First off, I had a minor issue with the product I had received. I got two different cyclops clamps in the mail, but after contacting CONVERTIBARS, the issue was resolved and I got some free stuff for my patience. Thank you Steve Mager. Now to the product! This setup is really nice. I had traveled down state on a 500 mile trek to Albany and back (plus some twisty fun runs). I was able to quickly go from cruiser to sport so that I could enjoy the long pain free trip down and then get aggressive with the twisties around the Lake George area."
    - David Deininger, Potsdam, NY
  • "Installed the 45mm kit on my Triumph Daytona 955i, 2000 Model Year. Kit is high quality, excellent instructional materials provided (DVD/Booklet) & Great Customer Service! After adjustments made went for a 50 mile ride to test them out-Outstanding, feels like a brand new motorcycle: Better leverage than the oem clip-ons, head-up position and this Triumph feels much more confident-stable in aggressive turns."
    - Geno, Las Vegas, NV
  • "So far I love the bars! They were exactly what I wanted in handlebars. Really easy to install & adjust on the fly. I really appreciate Jason Larson from SquidWheelies Motorcycle Stunt Team for turning me on to the bars! I would also like to thank Convertibars for the incredible product & customer service. Definitely a must have upgrade for your bike! "
    - Brandon Larson, Minneapolis, MN
  • "I have installed Convertibars on two bikes now: an '02 VFR and an '06 Triumph Sprint ST. The bars work great on both bikes! Installation is straight forward and the 3-way adjustability is truly unique - no other system offers this. When adjusted in the most comfortable positions (up and back for easy-rider touring), you're sitting straight up and can ride 600 miles per day in comfort on any bike."
    - Ken, San Diego, CA
  • "Convertibars are hands down the best upgrade I have on my 2004 zx6r 636 stuntbike. I switched from regular Vortex clipons and the difference is amazing. Convertibars are not only the most adjustable bars as far as riding position is concerened but also the most visual appealing. The quality of this product is top notch. Steve has all the bases covered over at Convertibars."
    - Stuntride Greg, Ripon, California
  • "This is an absolutely fantastic product in every way. The fit and finish is light years better than the stock pieces they replace and in fact rivals most works products I've seen. My Ducati master mechanic said he'd never seen an adjustable bar riser kit actually work without modifications, let alone be perfect right out of the box. ConvertiBars delivers the goods with this kit! "
    - Eric Hutchison, Daytona Beach, FL
  • "Extremely happy with my Convertibars, The adjust-ability is endless to maximize comfort-ability. Installation is simple and quick, Money well spent, by far the best addition to my Hyosung. Thank you! "
    - GARY, Portland, Oregon
  • "ConvertiBARS are PerfectBARS…  I searched other options and nothing compares to the adjustability or ease of installation of these bars. The possibilities are endless as I converted my 2008 Hyosung GT650R low forward position clip-ons to a more upward touring position. I would recommend ConvertiBARS to anyone looking to dialing in their bike for the perfect ride. "
    - Scott Zimmer, Minneapolis, MN
  • "I purchased the Ducati ST kit after trying Helibars and standard bar risers over a course of 10 years. I could never achieve the comfort I was looking for on my Ducati ST2 and was ready to sell the motorcycle. The convertibar kit provided the solution with both rise, ability to bring the bars closer to the rider, and adjustability of the bar angle. I was so pleased with the result I went out and purchased a Ducati ST4s and another convertibar kit. Customer Service is also excellent."
    - Craig Kessler Arlington, VA
  • "I spent a lot of time researching motorcycle bars that would make my CBR1100XX Blackbird more comfortable to ride. While many products offer some adjustability...NONE offered the range of adjustability that Convertibars offers. Their kit not only comes with excellent written instructions but also it comes with a CD of an actual install. The fit and finish of the kit is 1st class just mechanical beauty. I would definitely recommend this product. "
    - Bert Foster, Gainesville, Ga
  • "I became interested in Convertibars from a neighbor that had an old kit he used on his Kawi. I wanted to lower the bar position and move them forward to get my head down out of the wind and be in more of a café racer/sportbike position. The Convertibars gave me more than enough adjustable to gain the riding position I was seeking. Even better, I didn't have to change any wiring, cable, or hydraulic lines. The quality of materials and workmanship is excellent and certainly to the standards expected on a KTM. A great product accompanied by good customer service. "
    - Dick Petersen, Reno, NV
  • "this is an amazing product for the FZ1 if you're looking for more of a aggressive ride from Your stock handlebars. the customer service is top notch if you leave a message They call you back in a timely fashion. steve is very knowledgeable about his products and what they steve is 100% professional and easy to talk to....all in all nothing but good service from convertibars. "

  • " I have finely got your bars on my VFR. They work great!! I have had my 1999 VFR since new and this is my fifth set of bars. At first I went lower, then higher in three steps with yours being the last (it's hell getting old). With your bars I wanted to max out the higher potential. Somewhere on the web I saw a picture from Japan of a VFR that Honda had setup for police work."
    - Robert H, California, USA
  • "I bought the kit that contained only the bars for the SV650S. I was able to raise my position to where my neck no longer had an icepick inserted after 30 minutes of riding. This involved raising the bars about 2 1/2" above the stock bars. The stock lines and cables are maxed out, but quite operable. Installation was easy by following the instructions EXACTLY.The section of the bar adjacent to the fork slightly "pushes" on the fairing when the steering is locked, but no harm done. "
    - George Poteet, Dallas area
  • "The Converti-Bars are a great product, and gave me the Exact riding position I was looking for. I would purchase these a 100 over. Thanks for such a Great Product."
    - Ben Woods, California
  • "I have installed a set of convertibars on my 04 Thruxton resently, due to shoulder and elbow issues. The installation was easy and the instructions complete. Due to the adjustability of the bars I am now able to ride all day without arm numbness, and hand pain. The quality of the parts are first class and well made, every thing fit like it was supposed to. Thank you, money well spent. "
    - Jay Wagner, Waco Texas
  • "I own a 2012 Kawasaki ZX14R and use it for all types of riding including racing, corner-carving, and beautiful cross country trips. It does the first two pretty well bone stock, but after taking several long rides on a sportbike you start to look for those comfort mods that will make a noticeable difference. Let me tell you, the Convertibars hit the jackpot! Hands down the best mod I have installed on my bike. I gained roughly 4” of vertical rise and 2” further rearwards using longer brake lines/clutch cable."
    - Logan, Spirit Lake, Iowa
  • "Best/Favourite after-market accessory I've invested in. Extremely well made, top class materials and clever solution for those of us who don't bend and fold as well as we used to. Infinite range of adjustment, up/down, backwards/forwards, bar angle, bars are wider than stock and can easily be trimmed to suit. The kit works perfectly for me, in that I only need to raise the bars about 25mm (higher is possible) and use the excellent V-Roc system to adjust the bar angle to roughly 90 degrees."
    - Anthony Flynn, Dublin, Ireland
  • "I found the riding position on my 2007 SV650s too aggressive and uncomfortable with the stock clip-ons. The Convertibars totally transformed my bike into the perfect configuration. Expensive, but worth every penny compared to having to get a new bike that gives me the riding position I need. "
