"I am a 57 year young rider and proud owner of a Buell 1125R that I have "tweaked" out a bit...let's just say it was fast before and its even faster now. However, I am 6'2" tall and bending over for any duration is a problem. I tried modifying the bars to bring them back a little and it did help...a little. "I love these bars. Took a little work to sort out the mods to allow full range of adjustment but it was worth it. Installation of the components went smoothly.The down and fore position allows a nice tuck position with more weight over the front wheel. I noticed immediately that turn in was quicker and required less effort.The slightly wider than stock position is not noticeable and may actually contribute to the reduced steering effort.. The up and aft posititon is very comfortable."
"Convertibars are extremely well made. You can easily tell they are CNC machined out of billet aluminum. The finish is attractive and I like they way they look on my bike. They are the biggest comfort adjustment I have made to my Buell to turn it into an 1125RT. One word of caution however; be sure and torque the cyclops bolts down to 18-20 foot pounds to the bars will not twist. "
"I bought a set of 50mm black convertibars including the 5" longer front brake line. Throttle cables, clutch cable and wiring are all stock lengths on my 07 GSXR 750. Installation was easy, following instructions included with the bars and an online video as well. After riding with them for the last couple of months and a few thousand miles I am very pleased with the result. I can do 350+ mile days sport or sport-touring without my shoulders or wrists getting sore and have more control of the bike."
"I have obtained the convertibars to increase bike handling and to make the riding position a bit more comfortable. Due to the longer length of the bars, it's easier to steer in corners. I have adjusted the bars to get an active, yet comfortable riding position (similar to a street fighter). The convertibars were easy to install, thanks to the excellent manual. "Covertibars work out great, I love my bike but I like to take cross country trips, could not do that on the stock set-up without some serious discomfort, but I like the sport feel for shorter more aggressive rides, convertibars were exactly what I needed, no fender trimming was needed I just fabricated some brackets to push the fender up about a half inch and clearance is fine."
"My bike is so removed from stock, that I couldn't really provide much info. I do have a full range of adjustment on the clutch cable side. On the brake side, I have a non-stock master cylinder, and twin braided lines that make comparisons with the original setup impossible. I've also got a GIVI fairing mounted, using the old handlebar mounts as stays, so that complicates clearance."

At first I went lower, then higher in three steps with yours being the last (it's hell getting old). With your bars I wanted to max out the higher potential. "I bought the kit that contained only the bars for the SV650S. I was able to raise my position to where my neck no longer had an icepick inserted after 30 minutes of riding. This involved raising the bars about 2 1/2" above the stock bars. The stock lines and cables are maxed out, but quite operable. Installation was easy by following the instructions EXACTLY.The section of the bar adjacent to the fork slightly "pushes" on the fairing when the steering is locked, but no harm done. "

"I own a 2012 Kawasaki ZX14R and use it for all types of riding including racing, corner-carving, and beautiful cross country trips. It does the first two pretty well bone stock, but after taking several long rides on a sportbike you start to look for those comfort mods that will make a noticeable difference. "Best/Favourite after-market accessory I've invested in. Extremely well made, top class materials and clever solution for those of us who don't bend and fold as well as we used to. Infinite range of adjustment, up/down, backwards/forwards, bar angle, bars are wider than stock and can easily be trimmed to suit. The kit works perfectly for me, in that I only need to raise the bars about 25mm (higher is possible) and use the excellent V-Roc system to adjust the bar angle to roughly 90 degrees."
